Dorothy H. Seitz, 79

Dorothy H. Seitz, 79, of Lititz, went to be with her Lord and Savior at home on Monday with her family by her side.

She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Seitz, who passed away in 1994, with whom she had celebrated 47 years of marriage. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Robert W. and Mary Hart Dick.

Dorothy had worked for the former Hubley Toy Co. and Playskool Co. in Lancaster from 1950 until her retirement in 1989.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lancaster.

She was an avid bowler, participating in many leagues in Lancaster County over the years. Dorothy also enjoyed working in her yard and landscaping.

A strong family person, one of her greatest joys was to organize and bring her family together through reunions and get-togethers. A woman with a great sense of humor, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Krushinski of Lititz; 2 sons, Joseph P. married to Mary Ann Seitz of Lititz and Gregory N. married to Cindy Seitz of Maytown;  7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by 2 sisters both of Lancaster, Esther married to Donald Markley and Betty Stumpf. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, James, and Robert Dick III and a sister, Mary A. Snyder.

Friends will be received on Friday from 930-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA, with the funeral service to follow at 11AM.
