Doris M. Hall, 86

December 13, 2018

Doris Mae Yeager Hall met her Lord and Saviour on December 13, 2018. She passed peacefully with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. She was 86 years old.
Doris was the oldest daughter of the late George and Emma Yeager. She served in the US Air Force, where she married Harry Hall. She was honorably discharged in 1954, to give birth to her only child, Christian.
Doris worked for the George Barbey Co., Lancaster, for 15years and then went to Kerr Glass Corp., where she worked 25 years before retiring. Doris loved to write, and share stories. She was a member of St Joseph Church.
Affectionately known as Mams to her large family, Doris put her family and friends before herself in every way. She never missed a family event. Mams cared about the welfare of children and animals and gave to them through various charities. She always extended a hand or shared a smile. Mams would tell everyone she was rich in love and happiness, neither of which can be bought.
Surviving is her son, Christian D. Hall, husband of Jody A., 4 grandchildren, Christian D., II, husband of Jen, Daniel S., Virginia C., Bradley, wife of Brandon, and Adam C., husband of Meagen, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Harry, James, and Florence, and a grandson, Andrew Lee Hall.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA 17551. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will follow at 7PM.
