Dear Janice and family,
You don’t know me, but I was your mom’s college roommate at Shippensburg back in the 60’s. If it were not for her I wouldn’t have had the courage to go to college. We had some tough times and many good times. Her one tough time was her only D, which was in swimming, but she made it across the pool and passed. Brilliant in everything else tho. In the course of our socializing with the nearby Brethren church, we ran across this chap named Harold. I knew they were a perfect match for each other right away. And so knowing either or both of them was a huge blessing for anyone acquainted. I moved to Idaho long ago, but we connected by mail a year or so ago. So glad that we did. May you find comfort as time passes. Sincerely, Annie Decker Kurtz

Dear Janice,
I was sorry to read in the BV News that Donna had passed. I had talked to her a couple times by phone but certainly could have done more. I hope you remember who we (Rich and Joyce Bohn) are from the good times we had with Donna and Harold and you before your memberships were moved to Lampeter! I can still hear Donna’s contagious laugh! I also remember her gentle, loving spirit and her hard-working ethic. Her life blessed many people . I am glad we were privileged to know your parents!
May you be comforted in your grief By your faith, friends and family. Tich and I have been here at BV for three years.
Sincerely,
joyce & Rich Bohn
