I would like to send my sincere condolences to your family.
I did not know your father but I have a very high regard for Don and Gloria and their daughters. Randy is my very favorite daughter-in-law and the best mom my grandchildren could ever hope to have.  I hope this time will not be too distressing and you are all in my thought.
Marianne

Dearest Marion and family, it is with much sadness that I write this note to all of you. I wish that I could have been able to attend Don’s memorial. Keith and I are in Florida for the winter.  It was from you dear Marion and Don that I learned all about how to enjoy retirement.  This is my first year as a snowbird. I am fondly remembering our wonderful trip together to England in 1985 when I played Don’s nurse.  We were always first in line.  Years later Don would say , Joanne play nurse so we could get faster service. To the family, your parents were always keeping us up to date about all of you and were very proud of their sons and grandchildren. May all the memories you shared bring smiles and joy to your broken hearts. Marion Don was a wonderful and much loved man.  I will hold him in my heart forever.
With heartfelt sympathy, Joanne and Keith Shaffer

To the Marlett Family,
We would like to express our deepest sympathy to your family.  We pray that, as time goes by, cherished memories will help bring you inner peace, and make your loved one seem still very close to you.
May your memories that mean the most to you live forever in your heart.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family,
Your Neighbors,
Robert,Pamela & Siera Derr

Don and Marion were my favorite Uncle and Aunt growing up.  I loved their kindness and keen sense of humor.  I just (July 24, 2011) learned of Don’s death and am very sad for the family’s loss of this fine man.
