Deborah Lynn Olsen, 68

January 06, 2020

Deborah Lynn Olsen, 68, passed early Monday morning in Lititz, PA following a sudden illness. She leaves behind her children, Elizabeth Blake DeMatteo and Christopher Durden, as well as her brother Finn, her sister Sonja, her grandson Abel, and a grandchild on the way, as well as other family and friends.

Deborah worked in the hospitality industry until earning her BA in psychology at Shenandoah University, followed by her MS in clinical psychology at Millersville University. She then provided counseling, helping many troubled souls find peace through therapy.
Deb was an avid reader, and enjoyed visiting places of historical significance. She was also an excellent cook, a devoted Christian, and a beloved member of whichever community she lived in.

There will be no official service for Deborah. Please recall your fond memories with her as tribute to a life well lived and the many ways she touched each and every one of us deeply.

My condolences to you and your family. Although I lost touch with Debbie after high school, she is still present in my memories and the fun we had at the farm. I loved going there with my daddy as he and your grandparents were friends.
