My heart goes out to Davina’s family.  She came to Zion Church when it was possible. We had an on going relationship over the past few years and I’m sorry to say we were in Montana for most of the month.  Davina had such a heart for others and was such a positive young lady. She trusted her Lord and  seemed to take each hospital stay day by day.  She was such an inspiration to me and all those around her.  Davina was amazing.
We(Zion Church) will be praying for each of you as you walk through this very difficult valley. May the Lord comfort you and guide you during this time. If we can do anything please let us know.  Jesus be near.
Love,      Joyce and Pastor Steve

Dear Shober Family,
Our lives are also affected by Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility type.  As caregiver to my Zebra men, I feel your “struggle” and anguish with this battle.  I encountered Davina on-line, which means that she championed EDS Awareness all over the world wide web.  She rests now from her private struggle and she is with the Lord.  May you feel the comfort in that truth.
Blessings to the Shober Family,

I’ve only just recently read her obituary article in the LNP, and even though I am a stranger to her, I still wish to send my condolences. I also deal with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome on a regular basis and can understand the courage it took to get through the hardships of this kind of life. It grieves me to hear that someone my age has passed away because of this disease, but I am also happy to hear that she contributed greatly to the Ehlers-Danlos Society and has had a positive impact on so many people’s lives.
I pray that her family and friends can find peace soon during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Davina, I had the honor of getting to know her really well over the past several years and she was such a positive person despite the physical struggles I know she faced from complications of EDS and other medical ailments. She was such a strong advocate for EDS awareness and I will continue to be that advocate for her in my professional career. She will truly be missed by myself and I am sure so many others.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Shober family. Davina was a student in my class at CTC. Her strength and passion towards life was so strong. Even when she was so sick that year she continued to come to school 1/2 days- not letting her disease run her life. She was an amazing person. Her work with EDS was so impressive.
May you find peace during this time . I will always remember Davina for her unending love of all persons.
