Dear Kay and Family
I was saddened to receive the news of Dave’s passing to a better place. I worked off and /on with Dave throughout his career in Denmark/US/Australia. I remember very well the outstanding job he did in Australia and I told our then Italian bosses, we were glad he took on such a difficult assignment and did it so well I know there are many golf courses in Heaven and he will enjoy them all!!

I was saddened to hear of David’s death and I have some idea of how you must be feeling as I recently lost my wife. I will remember Dave as someone who was always cheerful and full of life. I can remember Dave in Denmark during my early days with Ford Tractor and then in Romeo Troy and Pennsylvania. He was also a pleasure to work alongside. I hope the memories you must have of him will be some comfort

I have lost a father figure and a true friend. He took me into his family and impressed me immensely. I will remember him always as a man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. He shared his love of golf with me in which I am not sure if I will forgive him for, but I sure enjoyed the times we shared on the course.
He was the best Grandpa and always was willing to give his time and attention to his grandson. I am only sorry that he will not be able to spend more time with his grandson as they had a great bond. He was definitely a role model which made me proud. I loved him and will miss him very much. Although I have not acquired his taste for Scotch, I will share one in his memory on those special occasions. May God bless him and his family always.
I was involved with Dave at Ford Tractor Operations in Denmark, Australia and the U.S.A. I am bad at keeping in touch with people and I regret losing touch with Dave over the last several years. Dave was one of the truly good guys that I met in my career at Ford, he was a pleasure to work with and the best at what he did. His advice and counsel at the Romeo Tractor Plant (1978 – 1980) were invaluable to me and I will be forever grateful. My deepest sympathy goes to his family.

Dear Kay,
We were sorry to hear about Dave. Although we did not know him very well, we enjoyed his company at the Marshall’s Super Bowl Parties. Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
In sympathy,
Tom and Diane Huber
