God cares about every sparrow that falls, how much more He cares for His own. May Darlene be in His loving presence and know she was loved and valued. I’m sorry she’s no longer here and send sympathy and prayers to those she touched with her smile.

Darlene was a welcomed regular at Lancaster Central Market. She always had a kind word and a smile for me. And, while Darlene will be missed, I know she is in a better place. My thoughts are with Darlene’s friends and family.

Darlene was a very strong woman. She was able to survive many Lancaster, PA winters on the street without much help from anyone. She is at peace now. Her pain is over.
