Daniel P. Deibler, 50

Daniel P. Deibler, 50, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Paul A. and D. Corriene Wolfgang Deibler of Lancaster. He was the husband of Kathy Kirchgessner with whom he spent 31years.

A registered electrician, he and Kathy owned and operated their own home improvement company in Lancaster.

Known as a fun loving family man, Dan was loved by his friends, was a big-hearted guy and an awesome Dad and Pop Pop. He loved music, cooking, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had also been a coach for youth basketball in the Lancaster area.

He was a member of Lancaster Grace Evangelical Congregational Church.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his 2 daughters, both of Lancaster: Brittany L. Deibler and Danielle E. Deibler; his 4 grandchildren Exiah L., Leilani M. and Charlize L. Rodriguez and Jonathon D. Greggs. He is also survived by his sisters: Debra L. married to Richard Chaveas of Shillington, PA, and Alice M. married to Stewart Ireland of Somerset, PA, and by his brother Michael A. Deibler of Latrobe,PA. He is also survived by 6 nieces and 13 nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr.  Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Friends may call again on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at the funeral home from 10-11AM, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM. My heart goes out to you with the loss of Danny. My short time of knowing him while he was doing work for us,was pleasant and I looked at him as gentle giant. He always had a smile on his face.
