Dalina was such a dear friend to me, from elementary school through college, and even as adults we tried to keep in touch even though we didn’t live close together anymore. I always looked forward to her visits back to Hillsboro during the summer or Christmas break, when we would get together for coffee to catch up. Dalina’s faith and positive outlook even during difficult times was such an example to me, and I’m sure to her many students as well.
