I am greatly saddened to hear about Dale passing away. He was a great friend and mentor of mine for the last 10 years or so. I met Dale at the Leesport Flea Market and became friends with him and sat and shared Army story’s about our service. He was always such a kind man and always had a smile on his face. I will miss seeing him at Allentown for the Forks Of The Delaware Collector show. He was a great man and a great advocate for our veterans.

To all of Dale’s Family. He was a kind and Humble man. The war stories he told me while we were slow at Green Dragon are ones I will never forget. He mad me laugh all the time, and jammed to the classic Rock or Country I had playing. He would always tell me, it was a boring day at the Dragon when I wasn’t there.  He was the best neighbor and it won’t be the same there without him.  It’s going to be hard opening up for the 1st time with him not beside me. With tears in my eyes, no one will ever be the neighbor I had with him. The lord gained a great Angel and I am very sorry for your loss of a great man. I will never forget him. My condolences and prayers are with you all. Rest in peace my friend. Beverly Ayers

To Dale’s family, I am so sorry to hear of Dale’s passing.  Growing up in the late 1950’s and into the 1960’s in the Linville Circle/ 500 block of Lampeter Road area; there were a number of us kids, (including Dale), riding bikes, hitting baseballs, playing games, running in the grass.  Those were the fun times of growing up, never to be forgotten, never to return.      Rest In Peace, my childhood friend.

Dale’s life is an amazing example of overcoming hardships and keeping focused on the important things in life. His light was always on and he always greeted everyone with a warm smile. And in spite of, or because of all God brought him through. I believe he has a very special place in heaven.
