Corinne Madonna

Corinne Marjorie Beatty Madonna, daughter, sister, wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, friend, “SuperMom”, and earth angel, died January 1, 2007 following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Spring Mills, PA on June 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Palmer and Vera Beatty.

Corinne retired from the RCA Corp. in Lancaster in 1982.

She was a member and volunteer of St. Anne’s parish. Corinne’s love of her family and friends was abounding. She always helped everyone in need and then some. Some of her favorite things were traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, tending her vegetable garden, collecting tea cups, sushi, and going to the beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and son, Robert Michael. Surviving are her brother, Earl C. Beatty and his wife Dorothy of Port Royal PA and her children: Corina M. Joscelyn and her husband Ronald of Lansdale; Claudia M. Hall of Bethlehem; C. Gina Feeser and her husband John of Lancaster; and Craig V. Madonna and his wife Pam of Elizabethtown. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Amanda Gaffrey and husband Shaun of Ashburn VA; Kyle Hall of Lansdale; Jared Hall and his wife Sara of Clarksville, TN; Jessica, Cecile, and Victoria Madonna of Elizabethtown; Bryce and Chelsea Feeser of Lancaster, and by her great granddaughter, Taylor Hall of TN.

We will miss you eternally. You will be in our hearts forever. We love you.

Friends may call on Friday from 11-12 Noon at St Anne’s Catholic Church, 929 N. Duke St., Lancaster, PA 17602, with the Mass to follow at 12 Noon. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Corinne’s memory to St. Anne’s Catholic Church, or to Heartland Hospice, 320 Granite Run Dr., Suite 200, Lancaster, PA 17601.
