Constance “Connie” (O’Connor) Hoffner Maser, 95

Constance “Connie” (O’Connor) Hoffner Maser, 95, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 17, 2013 in her residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the wife of the late Harry Maser, Sr., her second husband. Her first husband, Wallace Manson Hoffner, passed away in 1956. She was the daughter of the late William and Mable (Hahn) O’Connor.

She was a 1939 graduate of Trinity College in Washington, DC where she was a member of the Alumnae Association. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lancaster.

Connie worked for a number of years until her retirement for the international division of Armstrong Cork, where she was an advertising administrator.

She was known for her ability to not just make friends easily, but to make them lifelong, always keeping in touch with cards and letters.

Connie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy (Hoffner) and Robert Klein of Weatherford, TX; and two grandchildren: Daniel Jennings Klein and Connor Patrick Klein and his wife Anne. She was preceded in death by a brother, Overton Robert O’Connor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Monday, August 26, 2013 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd., Lancaster, PA with Rev. Michael Letteer as Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, August 25 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA and again one hour prior to the mass at the church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
