Claire M. Trees, 85

Claire M. Trees, 85, of Lancaster, died Friday at Conestoga View following a lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia, she was married for 43 years to Robert A. Trees who died in February 1990.

Claire retired from Conestoga View as a Registered Nurse and Supervisor. She worked previously for St. Joseph’s Hospital and Whitehall Convalescent Home. She was a devoted and longtime active parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving are 2 sons, Robert M. Trees, of Allentown and Edward W. Trees, of Lancaster; one grandson, Robert M. Trees, Jr., of Lancaster; and a brother, Francis Pholar, of Warestown, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St. on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at 11 AM, with the Rev. Michael Grab as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s New Catholic Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz.
