Maria, Mike, Corinne, and  Ryan- The loss of a son and brother can leave a heartache that never seems to go away.  As time passes I hope that the memories you have of happier times will help to move you through  your grief. I believe that every life has some purpose, and we may never know all the lives that Christain touched.  Perhaps his passing will help others to begin their recovery.   With deepest sympathy,  Debra Schuch

February 17, 2019

Dear Mike and Maria,
Addiction takes too many too soon. It is an incidious disease and does not discriminate. As much as we try to help the one suffering, it is only they who can help themselves. I know this all too well. I also know the guilt that stays with those who are left behind. Release this to God. Christian does not want you to carry that burden because it is not yours to carry. Christian was such a handsome beautiful boy. I will always remember our boys growing up together and the laughter and love we shared. Christian’s smile would light up the room, now he lights up heaven. Sending you love, light, blessings for peace and comfort for your soul.

Maria, Leona and the Querry and Pavlakis family,
I am so sorry for the loss and pain that you are going through. I know the pain of losing a child and can say that your lives are forever changed. I don’t think you can ever get over it…. but with God’s help….. you can get through it. Imagine Christian in our Lord’s loving arms. Imagine how free he is from the addiction…. and every time you pray, ask God to give Christian a big tight hug for you. (How special a hug from God must be…). I pray that your hearts find calm, peace and the grace of God’s love embracing your weary hearts.
Sincerely,
Carmen A. Valentin
