Matt and family– I so wished to be there today, but I had to work. As I said to Matt on the internet– I am a grief counselor, I would be honored to help anyone who is struggling– kids, too. Please contact me if you need help. Matt has the number.  I am so sorry; please be kind to yourselves and understand that grief takes its own time– we rush it here in this country.
Matt– my heart to you.

May your family find confort in each other as you walk through this time of sorrow.    It is that kind gentle smile that I remember so fondly when working with your mom, grandma and great-grandma.    You could tell by the way she spoke of her children that you all were the light of her world.

There are times when words don’t do justice – this is one of those times. I didn’t know your mom Tim, but I do know you, and by that measure I am quite positive she was a wonderful woman. Hold onto the good memories, they’ll carry you through. My thoughts are with you and your family. I’m so sorry for your loss.

To the O’Brien Family: Even though I never met your mother, I felt like I did through my conversations with Tim.  You could tell, like with any mom, how proud he was of her and how much she meant to the family.  She will live in your memories forever, so remember the good times and with every day the sadness will go away.  God Bless.
