Condolences to the Family

Charlie Maxwell was the Woolco Store Manager in which I first worked. I have thought of him often through the years, and the impact his advice had on me. I talked to him on the phone once or twice since those days at Woolco (He came from a Woolworth background)…but then I lost track. Today…I thought of him again, and did a search, remembering when last we spoke, he was in Lancaster. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Nancy, though I am far away right now, you are in my heart. We love Dad and miss him. He was a very successful man as he was surrounded by your love and the love and respect of his children/his family. We learned life lessons from him: there is NO substitute for hard work, always use oil-based paint, never get appliances anywhere but Sears, ask smart questions, be firm but polite, play the numbers, stroke through the cue ball, never accept shabby work, don’t walk in front of the TV when the Redskins are playing, read the paper every day, be informed, talk to the manager, have your facts straight, do your research, be honest, be faithful, love with all your heart, a dog IS man’s and woman’s best friend, your family will always be there for you – you can count on them, live your life and BE HAPPY.
I’ll be with you all in a couple of days. Love and peace,
Ginny
Nancy and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
