Charles Edward Olenik

Charles Edward Olenik. Prince Charlie left this earth and returned to the Lord by way of Women and Babies Hospital late Wednesday evening, August 8th. He is the son of his overwhelmingly proud parents, his mother, Mary L. Olenik (formerly Pasch) and his father, Andrew K. Olenik, both of Lancaster.
Charlie is survived by his four loving siblings; his sisters, Isabelle, Maggie and Natalie and his brother Reese, all of whom miss their acrobatic and ever-active little brother. Charlie is preceded in his journey to Heaven by his Grandmom Jeanne I. Olenik (formerly of Brookhaven, Delaware County) and Grammie Lois D. Pasch (formerly of York, York County.)
Charlie’s loving family invites you to celebrate his life with them through the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 14th at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church at 2935 Kingston Road, York, Pennsylvania 17402. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in his name to Share of Lancaster, PO Box 1976, Lancaster, PA 17608. To send the family online condolences, please visit SnyderFuneralHome.com. Charles F. Andy, Mary and Family, how very sorry I was to hear the terribly sad news about your young Charlie. I know how excited you were awaiting this new addition to your wonderful family, and to have that excitement turn to sorry in such a short period of time is so cruel. My thoughts and prayers are with you every day,

Kim Nelson

My heartfelt condolences for your family during this time. I can only hope that you find comfort with your family and friends that surround you and wish you peace in your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love-

Andy and Mary, I just heard the news about Charlie.  I am so, so very sorry.  I know that those words don’t come close to dulling the pain you feel or properly expressing the hurt I feel for you, but they’re all I have to work with right now.  This just absolutely breaks my heart.

I know that I am half a country away from you and that there is probably very little I can do to help, but please, if you need anything, whether it’s a phone call at 3 am to just unload or whatever, just say the word.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all the way through this incredibly tough time.

Sincerely,
Mike Gresley

Our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family at this. God is here for comfort, ask and he will bring you peace.
With deepest sympathy,
Dr. Scott Creisher and the Team

To the Parents of little Charlie, I am sending you my deepest sympathy but am also thanking you for allowing me to hold your little angel while he was at the Women & Babies Hospital. This gave me the opportunity that I hadn’t gotten 31yrs ago after giving my "little angel" to heaven. I now feel that I have gotten a second chance,so to speak,to know what it would have been like. God Bless you both as well as Charlie’s brother & sisters.

Your kindness will never be forgotten,
Patti Poague,PtCa @Women & Babies Hospital Womens Inpatient Unit

Dear Andy & Mary, I’m so sorry for your loss, I wish I had the opportunity to have known Charlie and to have him know his uncle Joe. He will always be with us.

God Bless and please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Respectfully,
