Condolences to the Family

November 15, 2017

My condolences to the Frey family.  I just discovered that Chuck passed away in August.  I went to Lancaster Catholic High School with sons Charlie and Rick and briefly met “Mr. Frey” at that time.  Some years later, when I became active with the Lancaster Sertoma Club in the mid-90’s to mid-2000’s, “Chuck” became a friend.  I looked forward to seeing him every week at the Friday Sertoma lunches and also every year on the Palm Sunday Retreat weekend at St. Joseph’s-In-The-Hills in Malvern, PA.  He was a good and faithful servant – I wil always keep him in my prayers.

To Chuck’s family: I wanted to offer my deepest sympathy to each of you. I had the privelege to know Chuck when he volunteered at St. Anne’s Retirment Community for the monthly bingo and also he would do music programs for our residents. I loved his energy, humor and bright light! Hoping that God is wrapping you in his loving embrace as you learn to live each day without Chuck.
Sincerely, Hope Long (Activity Director at St. Anne’s Retirement Community)

To Kathryn and the entire Frey family,
We want to send our sincerest sympathies to you and your family on Charlie’s passing. We remember him when Cassie and our Jennifer were students through the IU13 and attended parents’ meetings at Landisville. He was always a great advocate for those with handicapped abilities and apparently was involved in numerous church and community functions. We pray God will bring you much comfort during this time of grief and hope that your memories of Charlie will bring you much peace.
Our sincere condolences

Donnie and I are sorry for the loss of your father.  We know what it is like to loose a parent even at that age.  We are sure he lead a wonderful life.  You will always have your fond memories of your father.

Chuck was always a friendly face in SJN church, devoted to Our Lady in praying the Rosary, and singing in the choir.  I always loved hearing his “Irish tenor” voice when he cantored!  Such a happy soul-he will continue to sing with joy with all the Angels in Heaven!! We will lift him up in prayer and thankfulness for his long life well lived!  Your fellow Western PA natives, Ron and Cindy Dell
