She enjoyed making crafts for the St. John Neumann annual Christmas Bazaar, and was a volunteer for the Lancaster County Meals on Wheels, of which she was a founding member. An avid bowler, she was a member of a bowling league well into her 70’s, and had also bowled at least one perfect game.
Before she married, she was employed by RCA and after her marriage, she volunteered for a number of different organizations, for which she was recognized by Lancaster Newspapers as “Volunteer of the Week”. She particularly enjoyed teaching GED prep classes for IU13.
Kitty is survived by her daughter, Margaret “Peg” O’Neill of Lancaster; a brother, Robert Flick Sr. of Lancaster, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gerard O’Neill; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Gerlach, and a brother, Anthony Flick, Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd., Lancaster with the Rev. David Danneker as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM.

Dear Peg, We are so sad to hear of the passing of your mom. The years that we spent at BV were brightened by our shared experiences. We could always count on your mom for a smile and a friendly hello, and your dedication to her was inspiring to us all. As you face the next few weeks and months, know that we will keep you in our prayers. Sincerely,  Kathy and Dave Seifred, family of Shirley Andrejev.

We’re so mindful of you at this time of loss, Peg. Lovely photos of your mom — the mother-daughter resemblance is so clear in the photo of young Kitty. lots of love, xElise
