Carole A. Stager, 74

Carole A. Stager, 74, of Lebanon, formerly of Ephrata, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020 at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Glenn and Mildred (Mohler) Finch. She was the wife of the late Gordon G. Stager who passed away in 2017.
She worked as a school bus driver for D.B. Fisher Transportation for several years.
Carole loved the beach, going to the casinos and was a fan of Penn State. She also enjoyed knitting, needle work, her dogs and most importantly spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Ruth wife of Matthew of Lititz and Terri Wallace wife of William of Lancaster. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, William, Jr., Nicholas, Lexi, Jordan, Makenna, Maddi, Riley; one great-granddaughter, Adrianna, brother, Glenn Finch husband of Dottie of Gadsden, AL, daughter-in-law, Sherry Higgins and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Sean Higgins and daughter, Vickie.
In keeping with Carole’s wishes there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carole’s memory may be made to the ASPCA, 848 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
