Carol E. Kerek, 54

Carol E. Kerek, 54, of Lancaster, passed away on July 5, 2006 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Glenn D. Winters and Rosemary Handel Winters of Lancaster. She was the wife of James Jeffrey Kerek.

Mrs. Kerek was employed as a medical assistant helping Dr. Kegel at Dermatology Associates in Lancaster. She was a 1970 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and later at Willow Street Vo-Tech, graduating at the top of her class.

Carol enjoyed gardening and cooking. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Lyndi and her sheltie, Huey.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are her children, Jessica, married to Jeffrey Wall of Lancaster, and Lee Kerek of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Lyndi Wall of Lancaster; and two sisters, Donna, married to Robert Graybill of Lancaster, and Bridget Anderson, of Lancaster.

Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 11AM. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Friends may be received on Monday from 10-11AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
