To Carl (Butch)-

I was disheartened to hear the sad news from your mom yesterday.  One never knows when our time will be or how God will choose to have us join him.  I know that you are hurting right now, but the time WILL come when you can smile as you remember Carmen’s smile, her laughter & strength.

I pray that you see God’s footprints are in step with yours right now.  Praise the knowledge that one day you will again see your Carmen healthy, smiling & standing with open arms.

Karen Reider (Whisler)

I was saddened to learn of Carmen’s passing on Saturday, January 1st.

I was saddened to learn of Carmen’s passing on Saturday, January 1st.     Although I learned to know her professionally through her watchmaking skills only in early 2009, she immediately exhibited a warmth and caring personality that was infectious. Through my contacts with her (mostly by phone over the past two years however, I became aware of the precarious state of her health. But she demonstrated a strong and tenacious will to persevere. She fought the good fight. May she rest in peace. My thoughts go with you all.
