Brian D. Von Stetten, 50

November 17, 1970 - July 28, 2021

Brian D. Von Stetten, 50, of Lititz Pennsylvania, passed away at home on July 28, 2021. For the last 18 months, Brian struggled with symptomatic Parkinson’s disease, along with other complicating health issues. Born in Easton, Maryland, Brian was the son of Jim and Reenie Von Stetten of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Brian grew up in Dover, Delaware, graduating from Caesar Rodney High School in 1989. He wrestled in both junior high and high school, winning more matches than he lost. Brian earned his Eagle Scout award and served in multiple school class presidencies. He was an accomplished salesman and worked in many different industries throughout his career.

Brian recently relocated to Lititz, to be closer to family after spending 20 years living in Berks County. He loved the outdoors, especially being in and around the ocean. Surfing was his passion and he had traveled internationally to pursue it. He was a real Philadelphia Eagles fan and it was always a good day when they beat the Giants or the Cowboys. Brian made everyone laugh. His wit and humor were quick and enabled him to make friends easily. Brian was kind and had a heart as big as Texas. His 3 boys were his greatest joy in life.

In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by 3 sons, Curren Shesniak 17 of Wernersville, PA, Slater Von Stetten 15 and Colton Von Stetten 12 of Reading, PA; 4 siblings Brittney (Daniel) Henrichsen of Lititz, PA, Brigham (Colleen) Von Stetten of Albrightsville, PA, Brielle (Brock) Peterson of Burley, ID, and Brinn (Kent) Rogers of Whitefish, MT; and nieces and nephews, Chase, MacGregor, Ainsley, Piper, Tyler, Kamden, Aspen, Cash, Emma, Camilla, Flora, Benson, Amelia, and Stella.

Services for Brian will be held on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1136 Sunwood Lane, Lancaster, PA 17601. In lieu of flowers, contributions for Brian’s sons’ future education can be made to Brian’s sister, Brittney Henrichsen, and mailed to 323 Millpond Drive, Lititz, PA 17543 or Venmo@Brittney-Henrichsen.
