I worked with Bonnie at the Osteopathic Hospital in the late ’60s, I was at her wedding and reception. I am a teacher now, but  was a nurses aid then and I just adored Bonnie.  I was shocked and saddened when I read of her death.  I will remember your family in my prayers and I know that Bonnie is already with God. Please accept my condolences.
Love, Kathryn Viers

So sorry to hear of yet another family loss. My memories of Bonnie have always been very fond. Deepest sympathy to her children, and her brothers and sister.   (Dodie’s Mother) Betty Reppert

I was very sad to hear about Bonnie.  Perhaps her brothers will remember me.  I worked with Bonnie at the Hospital and went to McCaskey with her.  We lived across the street from you on Broad St. (Bonnie Yeagley) I moved from Lancaster right after graduation but my family tries to keep me informed of people I might know.  Actually Larry Bowman sent me the link to this web site. Bonnie passed on way before her time.  As a young lady she was lots of fun, always smiling and always had time for everyone.  I am very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Bonnie Yeagley Leclerc

BONNIE AND I GO "AWAY BACK" TO HIGH SCHOOL AT McCASKEY IN THE EARLY 1960’s, AND AS A PART OF THE LGH "HOSPITAL KITCHEN GANG" WHO WORKED (FOR $.50/HOUR!) AFTER SCHOOL AND ON WEEKENDS.  I ALSO REMEMBER HER FAMILY WELL…HER FATHER, ESPECIALLY, WAS VERY "UNIQUE" AND WE ALWAYS ENJOYED BONNIE’S PRESENCE SO WELL DURING OUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS, OFTEN AT THEIR HOUSE ON THE 800 BLOCK OF EAST MARION STREET.  BONNIE WAS ALWAYS SO CHEERFUL AND ENERGETIC AND APPEARED TO ENJOY LIFE A LOT.  I STILL REMEMBER THE TIME – ABOUT 1961 – SHE SOMEHOW "ACQUIRED" A REAL METAL 35MPH SPEED LIMIT SIGN, AND "FOR FUN" OPENLY DISPLAYED IT AT A McCASKEY HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME….UNFORTUNATELY THIS (POSSESSING THE SIGN) IS AGAINST THE LAW, AND EQUALLY UNFORTUNATE WAS THAT A CONSTABLE WAS ALSO IN THE AUDIENCE AT THAT GAME, TOO!  THE REST IS HISTORY….BUT I BELIEVE SHE GOT OFF WITH A MERE WARNING.  AH, THE INNOCENCE & MISCHIEF OF YOUTH!   WE’LL MISS YOU, BONNIE!  I PLAN TO BE AT FRIDAY’S SERVICE.
