Condolences to the Family

I have known Audrey and her brother Tom since we were next-door neighbors in the mid 1950’s.  We had some fun times and sad times and learned about love and life in a world that today seems simpler and innocent.  Over the last years, she endured so much with grace, humor and her strong faith.
I choose to remember those good times of our past:  Standing in line with all the neighborhood kids on the first day of school while my Mom took home movies; Driving her “cute” Pinto to work; visiting Susan and I in Maine and learning to sail; Neighborhood Pizza parties at our house; Marrying David and raising a family; Hosting our random Ryder Ave Potluck gatherings and trying new recipes.
Audrey enjoyed being a wife and mother and was proud of her family.  I will miss her optimistic view of life, and we are all poorer with her passing.

Carolyn & Michael, Jonathan,Natalie & children, and Tom & Julie – There are not enough words to tell you all how sad I am that Audrey is no longer with us.  She has endured so much and always faced her MS with grit, grace, humor and determination to make the best of her situation.  However, I want to remember Audrey as she was so many years ago when we grew up together on Ryder Ave.  –  so many wonderful memories of our close neighborhood friends & family – so much laughter and crazy times – always looking out for each other and having fun as we discovered what it was to “grow up”.  And when Dave Mack, from a few streets over, stole Audrey’s heart, we were all happy for her and her family became her whole world.  I hope you can be comforted by what a very special, kind and good person Audrey was and she  will always be in our hearts.  I am lucky to have had her as my friend. She will now be looking overall of us, her family and friends – I hope that can bring us all peace.   Susan Iannicelli Ostman

I am so sorry. I know what it’s like to loose a mom who also had an illness. But for covid to be the reason. That’s sucks. But again I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was awesome when I had the chance to talk to her. Your in my hearts and prayers.  Angela Rhodes

We were very saddened to hear of Audrey’s passing. We led the weekly Sunday worship services at Mt. Hope, and Audrey attended each week. As she sang along to the hymns, tears of joy ran down her face. Audrey always had a smile on her face and never complained. She was an amazing example and inspiration to us and all who knew her. We will miss her! Our prayers and condolences go out to all of Audrey’s family!
