Hello to the Kiely children and grandchildren:
My sympathy in the loss of mother and grandmother.  What a gem of a lady and friend she was to anyone who knew her. One person I know who was well liked by anyone whom had the pleasure of knowing her, regarding of length of time of friendship.  Your mother and I knew each other well, and altho still working at St. Anne Church Rectory, yes, almost 40 yrs. Ann Kiely’s name stands out often over others.  Her involvement with the church and its ministries.  Back in the early 80’s, she, myself, Margaret Showalter, Nancy Martin, and many others took a course over at St. Joe’s Hospital with Fr. Scala who headed the Health Care Ministry. We too 2 classes, and received our certificate for same. At a meeting, Ann voted me to be chairperson, and she and others were given names of shut-ins to visit and call.  Never saw some women, Ann included so dedicated to the sick. Later she took the Holy Eucharist to them.  Always making an impression of them, she made so many long lasting friendships thru that ministry.  Was/am so proud to have been
a part of it, and knowing Ann. Often she called the office and said, Rita stop by please for my church envelopes and I have the coffee ready for us. Still talk to some of her old neighborhood neighbors who said she was the best. Rest in Peace, Dearest Ann, in the Arms of Our Lord. You will be in the hearts of memories for a long time. Thank you, too any of the children or grandchildren who have befriended Rita Boyer whether in church, school, CYAA or otherwise.
Blessings to all of you.
Rita R. Boyer

Tim and family:
