My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. Anne lived beside my grandparents Ed and Mabel Poff On Geist Road in Leola For many years. My grandparents used to babysit me every day during the summer So I got to know your mother very well. I remember as a child how fascinating her French accent was. Your mother meant a lot to my grandparents… They cherished the friendship between the 3 of them. Anne is now resting in peace in the presence of God And someday we will meet again.

In Christ’s love—Brent Riehl

She was a very special lady, I met Anne, when my friend and I moved next door to her on Geist Road.  She said she prayed for a christian to move next door and I was so glad she was a christian.  I remember asking her if she would like to go to Times Square church and we did, she loved it.  We always had such memories when we were together.  I truly loved her like a mom, everywhere we went people would ask if we were mother and daughter.  That was nice because she was such a beautiful lady and very classy.  There are so many things I could say about Anne, but the most important is that she was my friend, and I was blessed to know her.  Will see you again my Anne, my french friend.

Love you.
Linda (brendle) shupp
