Anna M. Lear, 88

Anna M. Lear, 88, of 101 Whitetail Court, Lancaster, died Friday, January 19, 2007 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community.

Born in Lower Windsor Township, York County, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Martha E. Morgan Kauffman. Anna was married to the late Reno R. Lear who died in 1999. Her first husband, William A. Gehman died in 1981.

Mrs. Lear was a refinisher in the Pulsar Department of Hamilton Technology for 36 years, retiring in 1979. Her memberships included St. Andrew United Church of Christ in Lancaster, Guys and Dolls, and AARP Chapter #3856. She was the last of her immediate family.

Surviving is a nephew, Kenneth, husband of Dottie Ginter of Arizona; a niece, Shirley Spickler of Elizabethtown; great nieces: Debbie, wife of Mark Tisdale of  North Carolina; Lisa, wife of Chris Wallace of  North Carolina; Cathy, wife of John Myers of Elizabethtown;  great nephews: Bruce, husband of Barb Spickler of Mount Joy; James, husband of Suzanne Spickler of Columbia; and her best friend for 50 years, Betty Harnish.

A memorial services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George Street Millersville, PA on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 11:00AM. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville, PA. Friends may pay their respect to the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 -11:00AM.
