Angeline Nell “Peggy” St. Clair, 86

Angeline Nell “Peggy” St. Clair, of Millersville, PA, returned to her ancestors on the wings of a raven on September 4, 2017, at the age of 86.

Peggy is survived by her daughters: Victoria E. Sload (Brosey) and PattiAnn Kubala (St. Clair); and a grandson Dustin Sload. She is preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

Peggy was born in Neah Bay, WA on June 25, 1931 to the late Rev. Perry Ides Sr. and Nellie Claplanhoo. She was a member of the Makah Nation of Neah Bay, WA.

Peggy operated the Hobuck Beach Campground in Neah Bay, WA for many years, retiring in 2008. She also worked for White Oak Printing and Willow Valley in Lancaster, PA. She was known for her friendly smile, generosity, and caring nature. She enjoyed bowling, walking on Hobuck Beach, and trips to the casino. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Millersville Community Church, 163 W. Frederick St., Millersville PA, 17551. Pastor John Laughlin will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
