Andrew Dale Wittenberg, 21
Andrew Dale Wittenberg, 21, of Reading, died peacefully at his residence, Saturday, March 3rd, 2007.
He was born in Lancaster, a son of Dale and Cindy Wittenberg of Lititz. He was a member of Manor Church, Mountville, PA. After attending Warwick High School, he studied at Penn State University, Berks Campus, majoring in mechanical engineering. He was working for Mama’s Pizza and Malibu’s Restaurant in Sinking Springs. Andy was loved dearly by his family and by his many friends. He enjoyed and was talented in many areas: snowboarding, lacrosse, ceramics, glass blowing, violin, french horn, and percussion.
Surviving besides his parents are his brother, Benjamin Owen, husband of Lauren Grace of Harrisburg, his paternal grandmother, Shirley Showalter of Millmont and maternal grandparents, Norman and Arlene Keller, Brethren Village, Lititz. Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather, Hubert Wittenberg.
Funeral services will be held at Manor Brethren in Christ Church, 530 Central Manor Rd., Lancaster on Saturday at 11:00am. Friends may call at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz on Friday evening from 7:00pm until 9:00pm and again at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00am until time of service.
