I worked with Rich his entire career at Yellow Freight/YRC both in Lancaster and Carlisle. He was always a hard worker, and got the job done, but that didn’t stop him from socializing with everyone. If Rich was around, you knew it – because you heard him! Rich always had a great attitude even though the relocation of the job to Carlisle necessitated part-time living in his RV. Over forty years of work and commuting certainly earned him time to relax and enjoy life and I’m sorry he didn’t get so much more of that which he deserved. It was a disappointment when he upped and left us all at YRC, but it’s more saddening to know that everyone is missing out on Rich’s entertaining presence now.

It is with a heavy heart I extend my deepest sympathy to Rich’s family. I am so saddened to read about his passing.  He was a sweet and gentle soul. I pray he is resting in God’s arms and is at peace.
