I would like to take this opportunity to say what a wonderful great uncle he was. I have very fond memories and his kidding around about knuckle sandwiches, which I share fondly with my cousin, Ralph Ortiz. He has a wonderful sense of humor and was a true jokester. Uncle Al, rest in peace and I know we’ll see eachother again…’til then, please look over us, especially Grandpa DeProspo. At this time, I would also like to thank Ken DeLucca and his wife, Diane, who stood by his bedside until the very end. They took time every single day to make sure his daily needs were met. I am forever grateful to both of you. Thank you for being in my life.
Your great-niece,
Lori Bakker Peschetti & Michael
I can only remember having great times with Uncle Al growing up. There was always his Sunday trip to our house for either a quick visit to see us before the "club" (another one of his favorite things) or staying for Sunday dinner.
One thing I will say he enjoyed all of the kids in our house. As years went by and we grew older, he continually remained my favorite uncle of them all.
He is now at peace and with Aunt Annie. I am sure she is pulling him by his ear but also very glad to see him again. Rest in peace and we will meet again.
Ken, thanks to you and your wife for everything it’s truly appreciated.
Love,
Joey and Steven
