Judith “Judy” A. Mellott, 85

Judith “Judy” Anne Mellott (Hoar), 85, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late William C. Hoar and Clara K. Hoar, and the wife of Phil Mellott. She and Phil were together for 40 years.

Judy graduated from Pequea Valley High School in 1958 and initially worked for Armstrong, Inc. before moving on to Kerr Glass Mfg. Co./Kerr Group, Inc. She enjoyed volunteering at the Lititz United Methodist Church’s Clothing Bank, gardening, traveling, and reading.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by a brother J. William Hoar.
