Gregory “Greg” William Borders, 66

Gregory “Greg” William Borders, 66, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, after a courageous fight against cancer. Born in Elkhart, Indiana, he was the son of the late William and Jeanette Borders. He retired from Milton Hershey School District from the transportation department.
Greg married Theresa, in 1982, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with laughter, love, and adventure. Greg found joy in watching drag races, admiring nice cars, and traveling with Theresa to enjoy good food and new places.
He loved to read, cheer for his favorite team, The Chicago Bears, and spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “G.”
Greg’s strength never wavered he faced every challenge with courage and determination.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa Borders; his children, Jacob Borders, husband of Kris, and Sarah Nelms, wife of Dennis; and his cherished grandchildren, Hazel and Dennis known as “Deno”. He is also survived by his sister, Suzanne Finnerty, along with many immediate and extended family members who loved him dearly.
A service to celebrate Greg’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
