Our condolences to Linda, and also Bill’s family. I shall always have a fond memory of my early days in AA and a trip Bill and myself and a group of other people in sobriety made from Lancaster to Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The first trip we made was by bus and was well organized. The second trip Bill and I drove vans and it was a fiasco, but we made it there, and back, and enjoyed a weekend with a large group of sober friends. We moved to Florida in 1995 and have not seen much of Bill for a long time, but shall always remember his big smile, willingness, and desire.

We will have you all in our prayers, as we fondly remember Bill.

In Love & Light,

Henry & Jacki Zimmerman

Erik & Shawn,

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We remember your dad from Alex’s birthday parties when she was little. Hold all memories close; they will help you through the hard moments. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Our love,

Diane & Don Sweeney

Hi Linda,

Sorry for your loss. I will miss Bill at the Denver Group and at BOA.

Hi Linda,

just wanted you to know that I’m thinking about you, especially in your time of grief.

Please know that my prayers are with you.

Love,

Janet Hoak

Bill was my DCM when I was a GSR and then my advisor when I was a DCM — and his advice was good. And he was good, and I’ll miss him, especially at Lititz BTB.

God bless. —

Jared Lobdell (Elizabethtown)

Dear Lackey Family —

I remember Bill for so many years of service, especially as a GSR and DCM, and of course I remember Bill and his motorcycles, going after life for all that there was. God bless him.

Sincerely,

Jane Starke Lobdell,
Elizabethtown

Brooke,

I just wanted to let you know that I am sorry I was unable to attend the services. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Love,

Brooke sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. It is never easy losing a loved one especially a parent. I know only time will heal the pain, but I just want you to know that I will be praying for you and your family that you may find peace and solace during your time of grief.

Your dad is in a better place and although he has transitioned, he will be with you always.
