Dear Teresa:
I’m sure you remember us – John & Sharon Brubaker from Manheim GBC – a long time ago!!  I met you at Sharon Kreider’s house.  Just wanted you to know our love and prayers are with you during this time of losing your father.  I lost my dad about 3 1/2 yrs. ago to cancer – hang on to your precious memories!!  I know your dad was very special to you.  If you want to contact me, my number is 665-3318.  Several people have indicated that they want to send you a card;I don’t have your address and I’m sorry to say, I don’t remember your married name. Please take care – God walks beside us during our good times and not so good times.  He promises He will never leave us or forsake us.

Dear Faith,
My heart is broken for you and your family. Wendall was such a bright light. We loved always running into the two of you shopping at Stauffers! I think I knew something was wrong the last time I saw you and Wendall at the Kissel Hill Health Center. Since my health is not good, I recognized the look.

So many great memories. Wendall will be so missed.

Sincerely,
Ellen Wascou and Daniel Weinhold

Faith-Ellen we are very sorry for your loss. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We always enjoyed watching Jack on TV in Bangor way back when when we were visiting Belfast. He was a very special man.

It was with heartfelt sadness that I read about Wendall’s passing when I returned home from a speaking trip on Saturday.

I have fond memories of that gentle man and his wonderful smile and demeanor.  I was fortuate that our paths crossed several times during our careers.

Unfortunately, I will be on another speaking trip when his memorial service occurs – but I’ll pause and smile – happy that I was lucky enough to know Wendall.

My sincere sympathies to all of you.

It is with great regret and sadness that I heard the news of Wendall’s passing.  His compassion and willingness to always help others in need with a joyous attitude and demeanor was a hallmark uniquely defined by Wendall himself. He was a tremendous man who gave of himself tirelessly to others.

Wendall’s help was instrumental in assisting our businesses growth and development early on. His  professionalism was always top shelf. There was, is, and will never be a man like Wendall. We who knew him were blessed in too many ways to fully express in this limited space.

The industry has lost a great icon, ambassador and consummate professional, but for most of us…we have lost a dear and loving human being we were privileged to call our friend.

With great sadness,
David Albright

For several years Wendell helped our AV Staff, led by Ralph Deckard, in producing the annual video report for our organization. Each year the format and presentation of our reports improved due largely to Wendell’s help and guidance. But, what I think we will all remember most about Wendell is that, whatever the time pressure to complete the task at hand, he was always upbeat and smiling, while steering us toward completion.

Wendell will surely be missed as a professional by us, but it is his friendship we will miss most of all. Our deepest sympathies to Wendell’s family. He will be sorely missed!

Sincerely,
Scott R. Wolfe

Dear Faith,
I was so shocked and saddened to read of Wendall’s passing.  It certainly was wonderful to see you both this summer at Lititz Church of the Bretheren for PAM’s Vivace concert, I appreciated talking with you.
You and Wendall were such good friends of PAM for many years and your fine work documenting the construction of the building at 42 North Prince was highly valued by many. You both had a deep understanding and appreciation for the work of the Jamanis’s and PAM. Thank you for that.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Wendall will be missed!

Dee and I had the good fortune to  work with Wendall while at Ch 8 – unfortunately for only a year before we headed South… However we’ll always remember him as one of ‘the good guys’ in the business.  The smile was always there and the humor – mostly aimed at himself, which tells of Wendall’s character, just the kind of guy you couldn’t help but like…We’re sorry for his passing too soon and extend our deepest condolences to his family.

To the Woodbury Family … I would only see Wendall every now and then but it was always such a wonderful, giddy experience.  Wendall made you feel as if seeing you was the best thing that was happening in his day.  Always generous … always kind … always humble … always a gentleman … he made you feel as if he was in the presence of greatness when it was really US who were in that presence.  Though his spirit and energy will eternally surround those he loved his physical presence will be missed. He was an amazingly sweet, modest and delightful man, with boyish charm and a tremendously good heart.  May your memories and all the love you shared with one another help you through these next days, weeks, months and years.  When you smile … so will he.  When you laugh … his spirit will soar.  When you remember him with joy … he will live even more strongly in your lives.  I know he touched my life in such a happy way and I will always remember him with a great big smile on my face and in my heart.

You have my sympathy …

Dear Faith and family,
I was so sorry and surprised to hear of Wendall’s death.  He was such a kind gentleman who was quite a creative professional as well. He did so much for the arts in this community with his features on Wendall’s World. I always enjoyed working with him in those and with his production company. I am so deeply sorry for your loss!
