Dear Mary and family,

My most sincere and deepest condolences to you all. I believe I know most of what you are feeling and experienceing. We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your son, Troy. We are your neighbors, the Morrises, on Pin Oak Lane. Our daughter, Karly Martin, went to school with Troy, and was a friend of his. I, Terri Morris, lost my father suddenly in January, and was devastated.  Nothing can compare to the loss of a child.  Our prayers are with your entire family.

My deepest sympathies and condolances during this most difficult time. I haven’t seen or spoken to Troy in over 10 years, but I feel sad to lose any of our Mountville crew prematurely. We may not all still be in touch, but the people I grew up with in the neighborhood are the people I grew up with, the ones that helped to shape me, and will ALWAYS be a part of me. I’ll always feel connected to the Highland Drive boys and this kind of news hits home. I always remember the Ludwig household fondly, and recall their house being THE place for us kids to congregate. The Ludwig’s home was the place to be- I remember Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig, Corey [and the three Scottish Terriers] being incredibly hospitible and always welcoming us into their home and wanting nothing more than to show us the best time that they could. I will always remember Troy as a person that was kind, approachable, and so easy to get along with. My best to your family during this difficult time.

Take care,

Just wanted to let you know that Troy will be greatly missed. He was a loving, caring, funny person. I now have no powerball ticket partner now. I also lost my cigarette smoking buddy at work. Well they say everything happens for a reason. We may not always understand that reason, but we just have to make the best of it. If you need anything please let me know I will do anything that I can to help. It has been a horrible year for a lot of people in my surroundings, there for we just all need to stick together to keep each other happy.

Love,

Momma Martha, Martha and Lou, John(Martha’s brother), Heather and Family

I just saw Troy and Corey a couple of weeks ago. I grew up with both of them in Mountville, and I will always cherish the fact that I knew Troy. Corey, I am sorry for your loss. It hurts me to know that you are going through such pain, such loss. I realize it is difficult now, but try to remember the fun… the good times you shared with your brother. There is no greater bond then the one we have with our siblings, especially that of a twin.

I am glad I got a chance to hug him the last time I saw him.

My prayers are with you and your family now and forever,

Your Friend,

Denyse M. Keaveney

Ludwig Family,

There are tears on my cheek for the loss of Troy.

A Friend,

My deepest sympathy to all of you at this very sad time. Troy was very loved and will be deeply missed. I always enjoyed seeing how much fun him and Brian had establishing Brian’s Salt Water Tank.

I knew Troy & Corey and Mr. & Mrs. Ludwig a few years back had just spoke of Troy over the weekend of how he put my daughter’s swing set together about 6 years ago that is still standing. I feel sorrow for the loss for your family and wish you all great strength to get through this tough time as best as you all can in your own way. Stick together and remain strong.

I haven’t seen Troy in many years, but the time that I knew him growing up was enough for me to get a knot in my throat when I heard that he is in a better place now. Life takes many strange and unexplainable turns at times. All I can say is that I know Troy will be missed….

I remember hanging out with Troy and Cory when I first moved to Lancaster from Pittsburgh in the ninth grade. Troy was a great person with an awesome personality. I have not seen him for many years but I will always remember him. He will be missed.

Mandie Gahagan

I’m sorry to hear that another young man with such potential has been lost. My thoughts are with Corey. Its hard for me to imagine what this has been like for him. My memories of both of you guys will always be of sitting in the outfield at Mountville Elementary, baseball gloves on heads, singing silly songs about "Old Man Tucker". I wish I’d had time to know him more…
