Thomas P. Giantomass, 87
Thomas P, Giantomass, 87 years old, of Lititz, formerly of Bucks County, died December 10, 2008 of congestive heart failure. He was preceded in death in 2004 by his beloved wife, Viola, of 53 years.
Tom served his country during World War II in the South Pacific Campaign as Master Sergeant in the United States Army. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Lititz.
Family, friends, and faith were the center of his life. He adored his children and grandchildren, showering them with his charming smile, infectious laughter, love, and zest for life. He exuded grace and style. Tom was an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling, gardening, dancing, and spending time at the beach.
Tom is survived by his three daughters, Carole, married to Dennis Revell of Lititz, Judith, married to Bradley Hudelson of East Petersburg, and Patricia, married to Max Howard of Doylestown, and four grandchildren, Troy Revell, Joshua Hudelson, Cassandra and Max Howard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial celebration service on Monday evening at 7 PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA with Rev. James O’Blaney officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Please omit flowers. I am so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I remember you speaking very fondly of him. I lost my mother right before Christmas 4 years ago and I think it makes it a little harder. My thoughts and prayers have been and will be with your family.
