June 15, 2016
Thomas L. Myers, 53, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Born in Lancaster, Tom was the son of Phyllis (Myers) King and the late Ronald Myers.
Tom proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the early 1980’s. After his honorable discharge, he worked as a carpenter, mason, and home improvements. He took great pride in his craftsmanship.
A proud father, the most important part of Tom’s life were his children, Thomas J. Myers and Hunter Rose Myers. A humble man, he enjoyed spending time with his kids hunting in Tioga County. He greatly enjoyed listening to 80’s music on 96.1 SOX. He also loved gardening and landscaping. Tom enjoyed raising German Shepherds and especially loved his dog, Ginger. Tom was a member of the American Legion, Post 34.
In addition to his mother and children, Tom is survived by his special friend, Lisa Myers and four siblings: Tony Myers, of Manheim; Curtis Myers, husband of Kelly, of Chesapeake, VA; Jody Brady, wife of Bob, of Conestoga; and Ronald Myers, husband of Tammy, of Marietta.
Funeral Services for Tom will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. We only knew Tom for a few years and were lucky enough to have him do some work on our house. I never met a harder worker than Tom. With him and his radio there was no job too difficult for him even if it was something he never had built before. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace Tom. The Lenox’s
