Theresa B. Brown, 86

Theresa B. Brown, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank, in 2013 and a son, Mark, in 1980.

Theresa was one of seven children born to James and Mary Breen in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia. In 1956, Theresa and Frank moved to the suburbs where they went on to raise five children. In 2001, they moved to Lititz to be closer to family members. Theresa’s family was her passion and she took great pleasure in being a homemaker. Theresa enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, and most of all spending time with her family. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Lititz.

She is survived by four children, Frank Brown & wife Chris, and Terry Grafenstine
& husband Rick of Lititz, Judy Wells & husband Josh of Ephrata, and Dan Brown & wife Tracy of Stroudsburg. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother, Frank Breen, of Andalusia and many nieces and nephews.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Landis Homes Adult Day Center, Moravian Manor Memory Care, and Hospice & Community Care for their exceptional care which contributed greatly to Theresa’s happiness and quality of life.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2PM from St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz, PA 17543 with Fr. James O’Blaney, C.Ss.R. as Celebrant. Interment will be held at the convenience of her family in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1PM until the time of her funeral mass at the Church.
