Suzanne Cecelia Rome, 11

Suzanne Cecelia Rome of Ephrata passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at Hospice of Lancaster Essa Flory Center.

She was born January 4, 1967, to Robert and Carol Sowers in Atchison, Kansas. She graduated high school in 1985.  She married Randy Rome on March 6, 1993 in Atchison. Together they moved to Ephrata, PA. Suzanne was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed riding horses with her daughter.  She was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church  and the Mom’s group at Mount Calvary. She volunteered at Open Arms Program and was on the Akron Swimming Pool Board.

She is survived by her husband Randy, daughter Taylor Nicole, 11, and son Mathew Randy, 10. She is also survived by her father, Robert, and step-mother, Mary, of St. Joseph, MO; three brothers – Timothy and wife Kim of Florida; Daniel and wife Carrie of Kansas; Patrick and wife Penny of Texas; one sister Karen Hazlewood and husband Jim of California; step-brother Mike Haskins and wife Sue of Colorado; step-sister Robin Haskins of Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 15, 2010 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Webb Officiating. Family and friends will be received Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Funeral Home from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Interment will follow the service on Friday at Witness Park Cemetery, Lititz PA.

Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of Lancaster 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
