Steven J. Georgilis, 56

Steven J. Georgilis, 56, of Manheim, passed away Thursday, July 19, at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Gary, IN, Steven was the son of John S. Georgilis of Trinity Fl, and the late Mary Tiliakos Georgilis. He was married for 31 years to Irene V. Christoff Georgilis.

Steven was a 1974 graduate of Purdue University, earning a BS degree in Construction Technology.  He also attended I.T.T. earning a degree in Electronics.  He was employed in construction management field.

A member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Steven loved his family, cooking, and socializing with friends.  He was a very personable, outgoing, and cheerful loving man, and always had a great sense of humor.

In addition to his wife and father, Steven is survived by his children, John Steven Georgilis and Lisa Brewer, of Lancaster, and Alexis Irene Lindsay, wife of Douglas, of Lancaster; granddaughter, Isabelle Lindsay; and brothers, George Georgilis, husband of Linda, of Fort Thomas, KY, and Andrew Georgilis, husband of Ellen, of Mariemont, OH.  He was preceded in death by his mother, and brother, Michael Georgilis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, July 23 at 10:30 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster.  Interment will be in Conestoga Memorial Park.  A viewing will be held Sunday from 6 until 8 PM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Chapel Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, or American Diabetes Association, 3544 N.
