Condolences to the Family

October 04, 2014

If your daughter is ‘the’ Dr. Maryrose Eichelberger of Union Memorial hospital training, I just would like to say a belated thanks for such a decent person in this world.  She was the internal medicine resident we all held in highest esteem and continue to emulate in character daily.  She embodies the motto ‘stay calm and carry on’… thanks again and please rest in the peace of the holy God of all in the name of Jesus Christ. Thanks and amen. Penelope Edwards-Conrad M.D., former intern, Union Memorial Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.

I have wonderful memories of Mrs. Frey as told to me by my mother, Motsy Heilbron.  Now, 2 friends have been reunited.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Jodie Heilbron Gibbons

I was sad to note the passing of your mother, Rose Speitel Frey.  I worked for John Frey for twelve years and met Mrs. Frey when I picked up/dropped off work at 1103 Wheatland Avenue.  You can be proud that you had such wonderful parents!
Sincerely,
Nancy Althouse

We’re saddened to hear that we have lost a relative that we never had the pleasure of meeting.  I have learned through my cousin John Norman Welsh of our relation to your family.
We hope that your memories of this beautiful lady will comfort you in your time of sorrow and hope that some day we may be able to meet our extended family.  My mother was Marion Theresa (Welsh) Sigafoos, daughter of James William J. Welsh of Philadelphia, PA.
I can be reached through my cousin J. Norman Welsh or at my email address lois@amcable.tv.
With much sympathy,
Lois Sigafoos-Peruta & Family

Dear relatives, please accept our condolences at this tender time. I may have met many of you earlier in my life, but have little remembrance of our meeting. I remember my dad telling me of Aunt Rose an Uncle Charlie. I was to there home in Lancaster only once, with my wife Lucia, and my Mom & Dad. (Eleanor & Norm Welsh) It was a family reunion with many in attendance.
I’m retired and live in Phila,PA (Burholme). I email cousin Lois (Sigafoos) Peruta often. Her sister Gloria is currently creating a Welsh family online album, and anyone with info to share would be neat.
Best wishes to all, Norm Welsh

Maryrose, Jay and family,
We were deeply saddened to hear the news of Rose’s death. She was such an important part of your family and we can only imagine how much she will be missed by all of you. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Anne and Nick Hopkins

I am so sorry about your Mom.  I have many fond memories of her – most of them when she was bustling around the kitchen trying to feed us and make us comfortable.  I remember my baby shower for Christa at the Wheatland  Ave. house, Maryrose and Jays engagement party, the party when the Ham radio set off the alarm system, the rehearsal dinner – oh so many great memories and such hospitality by Mrs. Frey. You were blessed to have been raised by such a wonderful woman.   I know you will all miss her beautiful smiling face. May God be with you as you miss your Mom.
Love, Nancy Pederson Patrick

We were very sorry to hear of Mrs Frey’s passing. She was a warm and considerate person and a wonderful family friend. We will miss her. The Freys and Speitels are in our thoughts and prayers.
Tom and Daniela Simpson and children

Maryrose, Jay, Alicia and Little Red,
You are in our thoughts and prayers!  Your mom (grandmom) was such a blessing to so many.
We are here if you need anything!
Brian, Sandi, Lauren and Nathan

Our prayers and thoughts go out to all the Speitel family.  We were so happy to hear that Rose spent her last days on vacation surrounded by many of her family.  She loved you all so very much and was so proud of each of you.  It seems she lived her life to the very end in the presence of those she loved so dearly.  Its wonderful that she was so alert and knew who you were!

We are so blessed to have been part of your family and had the opportunity to share in Rose’s circle of love.  We will always remember her kindness and gentle spirit.  She was a very caring woman who was so thoughtful and considerate of others.  She enjoyed living and sharing with her friends and family.  We will truly miss her cards, phone calls, and the opportunity to visit with her when we come to PA.  I know her passing will leave a large void in your hearts.

May God give you strength and comfort you during this difficult time.
Cathy and Harry Ward

What wonderful memories I have of visiting with your Mom, Maryrose.  She always made us welcome whenever we had the opportunity to visit.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Maureen
