Ronald E. Wood, 54

Ronald E. Wood, 54, of Holtwood, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at Lancaster General Hospital following a traffic accident in Pequea Twp. He was born in Lancaster to the late William and Emma Wimer Wood.

Ron previously worked for Frey Brothers, Inc. and was a handyman for family and friends. He enjoyed the mountains in Juniata County and the Poconos. Surviving are Ron’s wife of 22 years Carol Brubaker Wood, son Josh Wood, Lancaster, daughters Sabrina Drouillard, Mountville, and Amanda and Nicolle Wood, Holtwood, 7 grandchildren, and siblings Bonnie Trout, Linda Fenstermaker and Rick, Alan and Randy Wood. Ron was predeceased by siblings Penny and Gary Wood.

Memorial Services will take place 6:30 PM Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Harvest Bible Chapel, 609 Prospect St., Lancaster, PA, with Rev. Dr. Jamie Mitchell officiating. Private Interment. Please omit flowers. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ronald Wood Memorial Fund, Wells Fargo, 1800 Oregon Pike Lancaster, PA 17601. Carol and girls,

I am so sorry for your loss and I want you to know that you have been on my mind and thoughts since this happened.  I haven’t seen you or Woody in a very long time but, I have a lot a great memories and I hope you can find comfort in your memories.  Woody was a wonderful caring man and when I was going through rough times, he was a very good friend to me.  I will be thinking of you often and praying that you all will make it through this ok.
