Please draw strength from the memories Rita provided the family during her lifetime.  There is no doubt that she is in God’s hands now and will be waiting with open arms to welcome everyone home when their time comes.  The legacy she created will live on. Please know that the family is in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

This is the prayer that says it all: "SAFELY HOME"
I am home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed, I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus’ love illumined. Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me, In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on. Could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still: Try to look beyond earth’s shadows, Pray to trust our Father’s Will.
There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly stand; Do it now, while life remaineth-You shall rest in Jesus’ land. When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home; Oh, the rapture of that meeting, OH, THE JOY TO SEE YOU COME!
I know in my heart, my "adopted" sister is in Heaven ……..love you all.

Dear Maria and Family,
Our hearts go out to you all at this heartbreaking time.  Your Mom was a very special person who touched the lives of anyone who came in contact with her.  Her beauty and grace is reflected in all of you and as long as you carry memories of her she will continue to live in your hearts and your souls.

Dear Uncle Gus, Maria, Valerie, Lisa, Angie, Helene and Gus,
When I think of Aunt Rita, I always smile and I am immediately connected to warm thoughts and happy childhood memories. Her legacy of intense love and family commitment will live on through all of you and your beautiful families. She was a role model for strength, gentleness, caring and faith..such a wonderful wife and mother, grandmother (and aunt).
I am so sorry for your loss. She will be truly missed.
Love and prayers to all of you,
Meg

Farewell to a wonderful and talented classmate.  Will sorely miss her at the class reunions and receiving the greeting cards she crafted.

Angela and Family,
We send our love and prayers during this special time. Memories of your Mother and the children’s Grandmother will grow more special with each passing day. Please know that we think of you daily, the girls are feeling for you and the teachers are desiring to be of help, if you need them. Give our warm hug to your Dad and encourage him to come see the delightful work that you have done with these precious girls soon.
Love,
Cathie

Love is something so divine,
Description would but make it less;
‘Tis what I feel but can’t define.
‘Tis what I know but can’t express.

Beilby Porteus

My love of this poem was inspired by Rita and shared with the Schulz family.

Words can’t express the deep affection and love that we all felt for Rita. She touched all our hearts and bound us in love with her pure spirit. We will all miss her, but are comforted in knowing that she is at peace and watching over us in Heaven.  Our love, thoughts and prayers extend to all of you in this difficult time.  We pray for strength for all of you.
Love,
Linda, Hans and all the Blaschek Family

Dear Gus and family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  Over the years of working at the Lancaster Guidance Clinic and knowing you and your family, I know the sorrow you are feeling.  I have a water color by Rita donated through Arch St. that I treasure and will remind me of all those past experiences.  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope all goes well for you.

Barbara Keller Satosky

Angela, heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. Your sweet mother is at peace now with her Savior. For you and your family you are left to grieve and miss her presence. Please know your Baldwin family is here for you.
Fondly, Sibelle

Gus, I just found out about Rita’s passing. Carole called me and she did not know either until Tom Herr called her yesterday to tell her about Don Rynier. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful lady who opened her home to our rowdy crew on many occasions. My thoughts are with you and your family. I am sure the support of your loving family is helping to get you through.
All our love to you,
Roger and Cheryl.
