Dear Jean,
We are sending you a quote from Gail Lynne Goodwin;
Upon our passing it may seem like we are separated by time and space.  Always remember…Love Never Dies.
Thinking of you today and always,  Bob Rice and Sandi

Dear Jean,  I am keeping you and your family close in thought and prayer as you traverse these sad and dark days.
It is with with heavy heart and tear-stained face that I write this message about “Mac”, my dear friend of 40+ years.  At one point, “Mac” was the Senior Civillian Executive Director at the Navy Base in Mechanicsburg and I was a Weapons System Program Manager with a “very troubled program”.  On numerous occasions, I would be summoned to his office to give him a quick run down on how we were doing resolving problematic issues.  He was always ready to help if you needed his magic Executive touch which sometimes could be not so subtle and not so soft….but nevertheless, EFFECTIVE.  You always wanted him to be on YOUR SIDE.  He could be hard as nails when dealing with the corporate Big Guys but in the very next breath, he was just back to being “Mac”.  He was honorable and humble.  He was the ultimate gentleman and treated you fairly and with respect and in return, you did the same for him.
I will miss his wisdom, his guidance but mostly his friendship more than I can express.  EVEN NOW, I cannot imagine not being able to pick up the phone to call and ask him for advice or just chit chat.  Rest in peace Dear Mac!
Love,
~Judy~

Our condolences to the family for the loss of a great person.  We had the pleasure to work with him several times in our career and he was always looking to help people in any way he could.  He inspired all to achieve beyond all expectations.  Loved his personal approach and are sorry that we didn’t have an opportunity to get together in recent years except for electronic media.  We will always treasure the memories and his zest for life.  Still recall his trip to our wedding in Altoona, PA and meeting him on the road later as we visited and he drove his rancheros or el Camino with motorcycles in back on drive to Everett.  May he smile down on all his loved ones and may he fondly live on in everyone’s memories.
