Raymond G. Kneisley, Jr., 83, of Lancaster passed away Friday August 5, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Raymond G. He also belonged to several dance clubs, played lots of games and enjoyed volunteering at St. Anne’s and the landscaping committee in FL.
Above all he was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Country Meadows staff and Grane Hospice for their loving care and devotion that was given to Ray.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Raymond G. Kneisley, III husband of Debra (Raup) of Conestoga and a daughter, Karen Caplinger wife of Jay of Lancaster. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Brynne Young wife of Aaron, Melissa and Shawn Kneisley, Brendan Caplinger as well as a great grandchild on the way. Condolences to the Family

August 17, 2016

Dear Shirley & family,  John & I wanted you and your family to know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.  We were so saddened to hear of Ray’s passing.  Time seems to change friendships & we don’t get to see each other the way we once did but we still think of our old friends the same way.  We recently had our old movies digitized and last week we watched movies of Shirley, Arty & family, you, Ray & your family and John & I & our family when we used to go camping together.  It is so enjoyable to look back at all of our family and friends from years past and realize all the fun we had together.  Once again Shirley you in in our thoughts and prayers and wanted you to know you were never forgotten, with love, John & Gerry
