Paul Mitchell “Pap” Lindsley, 65

October 08, 2013

My dad left us on October 8 surrounded by his devoted fan club. There are many of us (daughters, grandkids, great grandkids, brothers, sisters and friends) left to lovingly share our memories of you. Here are a few of the lessons you have taught us through your words or actions:
Don’t smoke or drink, work hard, and Holtwood, PA was the BEST place to grow up in the world. If you love somebody, feed them delicious food. Be a friend, and help anyone that needs it. Most importantly, what we learned together over the last 14 years is that it is never too late to get a relationship perfect.

You taught me how to cook a pig buried in the ground. I was amazed & delighted. I’m happy to know you found peace in yourself and with your family. See you at my time.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. It has been a while since we’ve seen Mitch, however, our friendship with Mitch holds many fond memories. He was generous in so many ways. He took great pride in his work. He could make you laught until you wet your pants. And he always spoke lovingly of his girls.
Rest in peace Mitch. Say hi to my Uncle Ted!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mitch’s passing. It has been many years since I’ve seen him, but thought and spoke of him often. He was a very good friend of my brother’s & our entire family, his word is true…Holtwood was indeed the best place to grow up. I’m glad I had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in peace, my friend.

Carol and I extend our deepest sympathy to his family and friends.  We remember him as a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a perfectionist at his work.
Mitch has left us with a lifetime of stories and memories.  His wit and humor will be remembered always.  He will be dearly missed but he will live on in our fond memories of him.

He  worked hard and played hard and was a great friend. He knew you had to be a friend to have a friend. He was loved by all who met him and loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed on this earth. Much Love to all his family.
