Dear Burns Family,
My sincere sympathies and prayers on the passing of Paul.  I had the pleasure of working with Paul at Emtrol and in later years always looked forward to seeing him at the Malvern Palm Sunday weekend retreat.  Paul always had a friendly greeting and a positive attitude.  I pray that the angels and saints will reward him for a a life well-lived with a friendly “Top of the morning to Ya” as they welcome him into the presence of our Lord in Heaven for all eternity!

What a guy Paul Burns was!! And his great(er) equal is his beautiful wife Carolyn. I was blessed to know them from the beginning of their life together, serving as the flower girl at their wedding almost 60 years ago. Uncle Paul and Aunt Carolyn have been the magic people in my life — appearing at times of sorrow and joy, always bearing great love and so much fun — even in the most difficult of life circumstance. I know that they have played the same role in the lives of countless others. Probably their greatest gift to the world is their wonderful family. Each of their seven children have borne their parents’ mission of loving and serving God, family, friends and acquaintances and bringing joy to all they meet. I love you and miss you already, Uncle Paul! Sending my love to you, Aunt Carolyn and all the family and looking forward to formally celebrating a life well-lived.
